Plant health care experience is not required. We will train the right person. Finding someone who is reliable, pays attention to detail, follows instructions, and genuinely wants to learn is more important to us than finding someone who already knows every treatment or chemical. This is an opportunity to learn a specialized trade while working with experienced arborists and plant health professionals. You will receive hands-on training in plant health treatments, weed control, fertilizers, chemical use, equipment operation, calibration, safety, and Arizona plant care. We are not a traditional landscape maintenance company. We provide science-based treatments designed to improve the health of trees, shrubs, turf, and soil while controlling weeds and conserving water in Arizona's extreme desert environment.

What You Will Do Assist with plant health care treatments for trees, shrubs, turf, and soil Water in fertilizers, soil amendments, and plant health products after treatments are completed Operate hoses and watering equipment to move treatments properly into the soil and root zone Learn how and why different plant health treatments are performed Learn the proper use of fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, biostimulants, soil amendments, and other treatment products Learn to safely measure, mix, handle, and apply products according to labels and company procedures Perform root-zone treatments, soil injections, fertilization, and biostimulant applications Apply pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides to turf and granite landscapes Assist with insect, disease, nutrient, soil, and moisture-management treatments Learn to recognize common Arizona weeds, insects, plant disorders, and environmental stress Follow treatment instructions and prescriptions provided by arborists and supervisors Calibrate, operate, clean, and maintain spray, injection, and watering equipment Load and unload products, hoses, equipment, and materials Record applications, materials used, service notes, and property conditions Follow pesticide labels, Arizona regulations, PPE requirements, and company safety procedures Communicate property concerns and treatment observations to supervisors Provide professional and respectful service on commercial and residential properties We Will Train the Right Person You do not need to arrive knowing every plant, weed, treatment, or chemical. Adaptive will train the right candidate in: Plant health care treatment methods Tree, shrub, turf, and weed identification Fertilizers and soil amendments Herbicide, insecticide, and plant health product use Product labels and chemical safety Mixing and measuring products Equipment calibration Spray and injection equipment Watering-in procedures Soil health and moisture management Insect and disease identification Treatment documentation Arizona pesticide licensing requirements Training will include both classroom-style instruction and hands-on field experience.
