SQL DBA/SQL
Developer to join a collaborative infrastructure and application support team in Phoenix, AZ. This individual will support a complex environment of approximately 65 SQL, web, and application servers while partnering closely with developers and infrastructure teams. This is not a traditional database administration role. The ideal candidate will have a strong SQL development background combined with DBA expertise and experience supporting broader server administration functions. Responsibilities include SQL Server administration, performance tuning, query optimization, database migrations, server maintenance, code reviews, and mentoring developers on database best practices. The team supports both operational work and project-based initiatives, including server upgrades, server recovery, environment builds, production deployments, and modernization efforts. This person will help optimize overall database performance, troubleshoot long-running queries, and provide architectural guidance around indexing, partitioning, and database design. This role is part of a small, highly collaborative team and requires strong communication, ownership, and a willingness to support systems beyond just SQL databases.Additional Expectations:
