Job Summary Under supervision of the

AGRICULTURE MGR

1, perform unskilled and skilled agricultural tasks in and around research plots in fields, including irrigating, weeding, and harvesting at CA&ES Core Farm Facilities (300+ acres) as well as 500+ acres of labor recharge locations and other College field facilities as assigned.

THIS IS A PARTIAL-YEAR CAREER POSITION.

Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program High School diploma or equivalent certification/ experience/ training. Experience performing general agricultural work. Knowledge of and experience with determining correct irrigation frequency and duration. Experience driving light vehicles, operate tractors, and operate hand tools. Knowledge to diagnose plant disease and identify weeds. Skills to follow oral and written instructions. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the plot layout at CA&ES Core Farm Facilities. Key Responsibilities 90%
