Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Support students' growth and learning as a Paraprofessional with a contract opportunity near Davis, CA. This role is ideal for someone with a background assisting in preschool and elementary settings, particularly those comfortable working within a Resource Specialized Program. As a classroom aide, you'll collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to provide both in-class support and assistance with pull-out sessions, making a meaningful difference each day. This full-time assignment runs from as soon as possible through early June 2027, with 30 hours per week in a vibrant elementary environment. You'll work with a dedicated team committed to nurturing academic and social-emotional skills in young learners.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous paraprofessional experience, preferably with preschool and elementary-age children Familiarity with Resource Specialized Programs is a plus Ability to assist students one-on-one and in small groups, both in classroom and pull-out settings Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Patience, flexibility, and an encouraging attitude Organized and proactive in supporting individualized education plans (IEPs) when needed
