The IPM Sprayer will apply pesticide sprays and drenches on a daily basis. Responsible for the execution of the IPM program as assigned by management Responsible for inspection, identification and management of pests/pathogens Assists in the operation and maintenance of all equipment related to IPM Other cultivation duties as assigned and to include hand watering Shifts will vary all hours of the day, including early morning and late evening start times. Work on scaffolding and ladders. Wear full face respiratory protection for 4 to 8 hours per day Be reliable and take pride in your work. What You'll Need to Have Experience in the operation of IPM sprayer (Required) Ability to pass a respiratory medical evaluation and fit test (Required) The possession of either a Qualified Applicator License, Qualified Applicator Certificate, or the ability to acquire a Private Applicator Certificate by passing a test administered by the Agricultural Commissioner's Office (Preferred) High School Diploma (preferred) 2+ years experience in agriculture (preferred) Working knowledge of agricultural practices, irrigation and fertigation systems (preferred) Must be 21 years of age (or older) at the time of hire (required) Proficiency of the English language, verbal and written format Monterey Growers is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily in a light industrial environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, fluctuation of noise level may occur during peak production. The temperature in the work environment is usually moderate; however, fluctuation of temperature, either decreasing or increasing (heat level) is likely to occur during peak production.
