Duties Lead and manage horticultural teams to execute cultivation activities efficiently and safely, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all cultivation processes, including planting, pruning, harvesting, and crop maintenance Oversee irrigation systems and agricultural environmental control systems to optimize water usage, climate conditions, and overall crop health Manage irrigation schedules and systems to ensure precise watering tailored to different plant stages and environmental needs Monitor crop production progress regularly through plant identification skills, pest management strategies, and environmental assessments to maximize yield quality Implement integrated pest management (IPM) protocols to prevent and control pests while minimizing chemical use Conduct routine garden trimming, landscaping, lawn care, and greenhouse cultivation tasks using hand tools or specialized equipment as needed Maintain detailed records of crop growth stages, pest control measures, environmental conditions, and harvest data in compliance with SOPs Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all cultivation activities Requirements Proven experience in horticulture or crop production with a strong background in greenhouse cultivation and outdoor work environments Extensive knowledge of irrigation management systems and agricultural environmental control systems Hands-on experience with plant pest control methods and integrated pest management techniques Ability to manage horticultural teams effectively, providing guidance on gardening practices, crop pest management, and land management tasks Familiarity with greenhouses, garden trimming, lawn care, landscaping, and the use of hand tools for horticultural work Strong understanding of plant identification techniques combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to irrigation and environmental controls Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Excellent organizational skills to follow SOPs meticulously and keep accurate records of all cultivation activities Join us in cultivating excellence!
