Duties Operate a variety of farm machinery including tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support planting, harvesting, and general farm activities including mowing, grain bin cleaning, etc. Assist with livestock handling tasks such as cleaning enclosures and hauling livestock Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm equipment and machinery to minimize downtime Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting, moving supplies, feed, or equipment with proper safety procedures in place Ensure adherence to safety standards in all production activities to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Skills Proven experience operating agricultural machinery such as tractors, semi-tractors, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools with mechanical knowledge for repairs and maintenance Background in farming practices including crop cultivation, soil tillage, grain hauling, etc. Demonstrated supervisory experience in farm settings or related outdoor work environments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during manual tasks Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production and equipment operation to prevent accidents Basic math skills for measurements and some calculations related to fertilizer applications Experience with equipment repair, welding, or other forms of mechanical repair is highly desirable Excellent outdoor work experience combined with a hands-on approach to maintenance and operational tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their farming expertise while developing new skills in a vibrant agricultural setting.
