What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, and maintain lawn sprinkler and irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients.
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on existing irrigation systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, including 2-wire irrigation systems.
Perform wire tracking and fault detection to locate and repair wiring issues.
Safely and efficiently use power tools and hand tools to complete installations and repairs.
Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper irrigation design and functionality.
Educate clients on proper system operation, water conservation, and irrigation best practices.
Maintain inventory of irrigation materials, tools, and equipment.
RequirementsMust have basic knowledge of 2-wire irrigation systems and wire tracking techniques.
Strong mechanical aptitude related to irrigation systems and landscaping equipment.
Experience using power tools and hand tools.
Ability to perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and system installation.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance and irrigation practices preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
