Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various locations. If you have a passion for golf and possess mechanical knowledge, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems for golf course and surrounding properties. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, including leaks and malfunctions. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Dig trenches for irrigation lines and install necessary components to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with Superintendent to integrate irrigation solutions into overall golf irrigation design. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Requirements Experience in golf course irrigation is preferred. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to irrigation installation and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various equipment issues. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job. Familiarity with golf course care practices, including plant watering needs and soil management. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
