Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to dig, build, and irrigate effectively. This role involves working outdoors and requires mechanical knowledge as well as proficiency with both hand and power tools. If you have a passion for lawn care and landscaping, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Dig trenches for irrigation lines and install necessary components to ensure proper water distribution. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete irrigation projects. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden designs. Provide recommendations for landscape enhancements based on irrigation needs and water conservation practices. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to dig, build, and install various irrigation components effectively. Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape design principles is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor environments. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.
