Join our dynamic agricultural team as an Agricultural Scout, where you will play a vital role in monitoring and managing crop health, pest populations, and overall field conditions. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in diverse environments, utilizing your keen eye for detail and passion for agriculture. As an Agricultural Scout, you will be responsible for inspecting fields, identifying pest and disease issues, and collaborating with farmers and pest management professionals to implement effective solutions. Your proactive approach will help ensure healthy crops and optimize farm productivity while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of agricultural fields to detect pests, diseases, weeds, and nutrient deficiencies. Identify pest species and assess infestation levels using entomology knowledge. Document findings accurately through detailed reports and communicate recommendations clearly to farmers or supervisors. Follow all safety protocols Requirements Prior outdoor work experience in farming, landscaping, lawn care or similar environments.
