Job Overview Must have experience . We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our landscape maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the health and beauty of our clients' properties. Applicants should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with landscaping and horticulture practices. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions within irrigation components. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general horticultural duties. Use construction skills to excavate trenches for new irrigation lines or repairs. Maintain and operate various landscaping equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and uphold quality standards. Keep detailed records of system repairs, installations, and maintenance activities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working with irrigation systems and landscape equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators. Knowledge of horticulture principles, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance practices. Ability to operate construction equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with landscaping design principles and installation procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients as needed. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work, landscaping, and maintaining beautiful landscapes through expert irrigation solutions.
