Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Barn Hand to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the well-being of our animals, and supporting various agricultural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a willingness to learn about farm management practices. Team members that show they are willing to do the job needed will receive a pay raise after 90 days. must be able to pass a drug test, and background check Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health. Assist in the maintenance of barn facilities and equipment to ensure a safe environment. Operate farm machinery such as tractors and other equipment as needed. Support with general farm tasks such as cleaning stalls, organizing supplies, and managing waste Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient farm operations. Skills Strong animal care skills, particularly with equine and other livestock. Experience or knowledge in animal handling techniques. Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification preferred). Willingness to learn new skills related to farming and animal care. A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
