Job Description

Position Summary :
This position is responsible for aiding in building and coaching the tumbling program at The Peach Pit. The tumbling program includes athlete development, parent and community relations. This includes instructing participants, overseeing safety, and creating innovative coaching styles, techniques and drills while maintaining a posh boutique environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead tumbling classes for athletes of varying ages and skill levels using approved lesson plans, drills, progressions, and spotting techniques. Teach proper technique in tumbling, conditioning, flexibility, and other assigned skills, based on the coach's qualifications and class level. Maintain a safe, positive, and organized learning environment by actively supervising athletes, enforcing gym rules, and using equipment appropriately. Evaluate athlete readiness and progress, provide clear and encouraging feedback, and make appropriate class or skill recommendations. Build positive relationships with athletes and parents and communicate professionally about progress, expectations, and class-related questions; refer elevated concerns to the appropriate manager or program director. Maintain all required certifications, background screening, and safety training, including CPR/First Aid and applicable governing-body credentials for assigned duties. Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. We are looking for an upbeat, self-motivated, outgoing and reliable coach who has a love for tumbling and children alike. Tumbling, cheerleading and/or teaching experience required but we offer a fabulous training program to share The Peach Pit Style of tumbling education.
Pay:
$16.00 to $19.00 /hour
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4:30 PM - 6:30
