• 1 position remains Job Summary Here at Waimanalo Greens we are seeking a dependable and hardworking Sod Farm Hand to join our team at our farm in Waimānalo. This is a physically active, outdoor position involving the cultivation, harvesting, handling, and preparation of sod for landscaping projects and customer orders.

•We only accept applications from U.S. residents. Duties Assist with planting, growing, maintaining, and harvesting sod Cut, roll, stack, load, and unload sod Prepare sod for deliveries and landscape installation projects Assist with irrigation, watering, fertilizing, and general crop care Operate basic farm, landscaping, and sod-handling equipment Perform weed control and general grounds maintenance Load and organize materials, tools, and equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Inspect sod for quality and report any concerns to the supervisor Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions Assist with other farm and landscaping duties as needed Experience Previous farm, landscaping, nursery, groundskeeping, or general labor experience is preferred Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday Comfortable working outdoors in heat, sun, rain, mud, dust, and other changing weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and lift for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and maintain strong attention to safety Must be at least 18 years old Must maintain a safe, professional, and drug-free work approach Reliable transportation to the farm in Waimānalo is required We look forward to reviewing your application and hearing from you soon!
