Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. - Install and set up irrigation systems according to design plans
- Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems, including checking for leaks, adjusting sprinkler heads, and replacing damaged components
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, such as broken pipes, faulty valves, and malfunctioning timers
- Collaborate with landscape designers and clients to ensure proper placement of irrigation system components
- Operate power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, install pipes, and connect sprinkler heads
- Monitor water usage and adjust irrigation schedules to promote water conservation
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements based on client needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation system installation is preferred
- Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and pipes
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for digging and installation purposes
- Ability to read design plans and follow instructions accurately
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
