Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Farm Equipment Operator to join our dynamic agricultural team. Duties Operate heavy farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation equipment with precision and safety. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on farm equipment such as engines, hydraulic systems, and power tools. Assist with livestock handling, feeding, cleaning, and general animal husbandry to ensure healthy and productive animals. Supervise or collaborate with team members on tasks such as planting, harvesting, and equipment setup. Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting heavy loads, moving supplies, and installing irrigation systems or greenhouse structures. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, repairs, and farm activities in compliance with safety standards. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, animal care, and farm site management to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Proven experience operating agricultural machinery such as tractors, harvesters, forklifts, and irrigation systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on farm equipment. Hands-on experience with livestock management including animal husbandry and animal handling techniques. Familiarity with welding, power tools, hand tools, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of safety standards in agricultural production and experience adhering to safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for outdoor work environments.
