Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
ORCHARD FARM ASSISTANT
Orchard Creek Farm is seeking an Orchard Farm Assistant to join our progressive orchard operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in being part of a team. Working alongside the Orchard Manager, this position will assist with daily orchard operations, equipment operation, maintenance, and general farm responsibilities throughout the year. Position Overview Orchard Creek is seeking a candidate with a strong work ethic, is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while also supporting the Orchard Manager with day-to day operational needs.Primary Responsibilities:
Operate tractors and other agricultural equipment safely and efficiently.- Operate loaders and other material-handling equipment as needed. Assist with general orchard and farm operations throughout the year.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
- Support the Orchard Manager with daily operational responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Previous farm, orchard, or agricultural equipment experience preferred.- Experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Being able to lift 50+ lbs and use basic hand tools such as shovels, rakes etc. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
