The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. Duties Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize power tools and hand tools to build and modify irrigation components as needed. Dig trenches for piping installation and repair, ensuring proper placement for effective irrigation. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care. Provide recommendations for improvements in irrigation efficiency based on observations and assessments. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance schedules. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Experience with power tools and hand tools commonly used in landscaping and irrigation work. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor associated with installation and repair tasks. Familiarity with lawn care practices and the principles of effective irrigation. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation or maintenance. A commitment to safety protocols while working on-site in various weather conditions. Previous experience in landscape or garden care is preferred but not required.
