Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal. Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality. Use hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and other equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Manage pest control using appropriate pesticide management techniques while adhering to safety regulations. Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy materials, planting, and moving equipment safely. Carry out routine gardening activities like soil preparation, fertilization, and weed control to promote plant health. Maintain equipment through regular inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Proven experience in irrigation, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred. Knowledge of power tool safety protocols and proper handling of hand tools and heavy machinery. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique. Familiarity with pesticide management practices following safety guidelines. Strong understanding of lawn care, landscaping principles, and plant health management. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance routines. Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
