Responsibilities Assist with greenhouse cultivation activities such as planting, pruning, trimming, and harvesting cannabis plants. Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to prevent and control pests and diseases, ensuring healthy crop development. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all cultivation activities to maintain consistency, safety, and quality standards. Manage crop production schedules by tracking growth stages, documenting progress, and adjusting care routines accordingly. Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely for plant trimming, room preparation, and maintenance tasks. Conduct plant identification to ensure proper care for different strains or varieties of cannabis plants. Qualifications Prior experience in horticulture, farming, or greenhouse cultivation is highly preferred. Knowledge of irrigation management systems and agricultural environmental controls is essential. Familiarity with crop pest management techniques and integrated pest management (IPM) practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required during planting or harvest activities. Basic math skills for measuring inputs like nutrients or pH levels accurately. Strong understanding of plant identification, gardening techniques, and land management practices. Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems, hand tools, and gardening equipment is a plus. Outdoor work experience in farming or landscaping environments is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail along with the ability to follow SOPs consistently.
