Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cultivation Lead to oversee and optimize all aspects of plant cultivation within our cannabis grow. This pivotal role involves managing indoor cultivation activities, ensuring the highest standards of crop production, pest management, and environmental control. The Cultivation Lead will inspire and direct the cultivation team teams, implement best practices, and maintain rigorous adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to foster healthy, thriving plants and sustainable growth. Duties Lead and manage the cultivation team to execute daily cultivation tasks efficiently and effectively Implement and monitor agricultural environmental control systems for temperature, humidity, lighting, and airflow within grow spaces Conduct regular plant identification, health assessments, and pest management strategies including integrated pest management (IPM) techniques Coordinate crop schedules, planting cycles, harvesting timelines, and garden trimming activities to maximize yield quality Maintain mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in horticulture; perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards during tasks, use of hand tools, or work activities Requirements Proven experience in cultivation, indoor farming, or landscaping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Hands-on experience managing irrigation systems and agricultural environmental control systems Knowledge of crop pest management techniques including plant pest control strategies Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for crop production and pest management Ability to identify various plants accurately and assess their health status effectively Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and maintaining irrigation equipment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in outdoor or greenhouse settings Physical capability for heavy lifting, prolonged outdoor work, gardening tasks such as lawn care or garden trimming Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to irrigation scheduling or fertilizer application Prior experience managing horticultural teams is highly desirable Join us as a Cultivation Lead if you're passionate about sustainable agriculture, eager to lead innovative cultivation practices, and ready to make a tangible impact on plant health and crop yields.
