Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Horse Farm Hand, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and thriving equine environment. This energetic position involves hands-on animal care, farm equipment operation, and facility maintenance to ensure the well-being of our horses and the smooth running of daily farm activities. All positions are paid, and we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds in agriculture and animal husbandry. Responsibilities Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring to promote optimal well-being. Assist with livestock handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving animals safely across the farm. Operate heavy equipment including tractors, lawnmowers, and other agricultural machinery to perform tasks like haying, fencing, and facility upkeep. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper manual handling procedures and ensuring all equipment is used responsibly. Assist with general farm chores such as manure management, pasture rotation, and habitat upkeep for livestock health. Experience Prior experience working on farms or in agricultural settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated supervisory experience is a plus for team coordination tasks. Hands-on experience with animal husbandry and livestock management is essential. Skilled in operating farm machinery including tractors, lawnmowers, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Outdoor work experience that includes manual handling of animals and farm materials in various weather conditions. $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
