Job Summary Join our dynamic farm team as a Farm Worker, where you'll be at the heart of agricultural operations, ensuring the health and productivity of livestock and crops. Responsibilities Perform animal husbandry duties, including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring livestock health Operate agricultural machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Conduct routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of farm machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting crops, and managing growing processes to ensure optimal yields Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads, fencing repairs, and equipment setup with safety standards in mind Support livestock management activities including animal handling, breeding assistance, and maintaining animal living environments Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members Experience Previous farm experience or background in agriculture or farming is highly preferred Supervising experience is advantageous for coordinating team tasks effectively Hands-on experience with farm machinery repair and maintenance, including agricultural tractors and farm equipment Knowledge of animal care practices including livestock handling and animal husbandry techniques Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to promote a safe workplace Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and power tools required for daily tasks Outdoor work experience that demonstrates resilience in varying weather conditions is beneficial Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to sustainable farming practices.
