Job Description
Job Title Packer Job Summary The Packer is responsible for safely and accurately packaging HSP Diesel products for shipment. This position ensures that every part is properly protected, packaged according to company standards, and ready to arrive at the customer in excellent condition. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys working with their hands in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Select the correct packaging materials for each product Assemble boxes and inspect them for damage or defects Inspect parts for visible damage or quality concerns before packaging Wrap, pad, and protect parts to prevent damage during shipment Package products according to established packaging standards Confirm that the correct parts, quantities, hardware, and instructions are included Move completed packages to the designated shipping or staging area Maintain an organized supply of boxes and packaging materials Notify a supervisor when packaging supplies are running low Meet daily production and shipment goals without sacrificing quality Assist with kitting, picking, shipping, and other departments as needed Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of trash or safety hazards The company reserves the right to add, remove, or modify duties as business needs change. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Dependable attendance and punctuality Skills and Competencies Attention to detail Quality-focused and takes pride in completed work Able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Goal-oriented and self-motivated Reliable and accountable Works well independently and as part of a team Schedule is Monday through Thursday 7 am to 5 pm. Friday's are optional overtime at the discretion of management.
