A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Landscape Maintenance Horticulturist Job Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assessments of plant health at residential and commercial job sites
- Conduct in person meetings with customers to discuss plant care
- Complete site evaluation estimates to return to customers
- Perform routine, detailed maintenance (weeding, pruning, deadheading, etc..)
- Manage spring and fall clean up including leaf removal, perennial cutbacks, and pruning
- Assess plant health and determine potential mitigation options for pests or diseases
- Assist other departments with plant care projects
- Lead crews of 1-3 individuals to accomplish tasks
Landscape Maintenance Horticulturist Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in the landscape or horticulture industry
- ISA, CGIP, or similar certifications (preferred)
- Plant identification experience and knowledge
- Valid driver's license with Chauffeur endorsement (Preferred)
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more
- Willingness to learn, improve and advance while working safely and efficiently
- Have a positive attitude and works well within a team environment
