Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Manufacturing and Packaging Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment including mixers, grinders, and packaging machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) Perform routine mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime Follow all safety standards in production areas, including proper use of hand tools and material handling equipment such as forklifts Interpret production documents, batch records, and technical manuals accurately to ensure proper process execution Handle materials safely using warehouse operations protocols, including heavy lifting and proper storage techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing and packaging areas to meet CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards Adhere strictly to FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety protocols during all production activities Assist in assembly, packaging, labeling, and final product inspection to meet quality specifications Support warehouse operations by managing materials movement and inventory control within the facility Requirements Prior experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably within the cannabis or pharmaceutical industry Knowledge of manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs), CGMP, and FDA regulations applicable to cannabis production Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment using hand tools and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience operating packaging equipment and material handling tools such as forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification preferred) Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including safe lifting techniques and hazard awareness Ability to interpret technical documents, batch records, and production instructions accurately Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and compliance standards Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment Join our team to be part of an innovative industry that values safety, quality, and efficiency.
