We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individual(s) to join our team as Greenhouse Associates. Role Summary The Greenhouse Associate (GA) will assist with the daily care and maintenance of cannabis plants throughout their life cycle within our controlled-environment greenhouse facility. The GA will also help with production and packaging tasks, as needed. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about horticulture and looking to build a career in the regulated cannabis industry. The ideal candidate must be reliable, punctual, able to follow detailed instructions, and willing to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Plant Care and Maintenance Execute all stages of plant handling, including transplanting, pruning, trellising, and harvesting. Monitor plant health daily, identifying and reporting any signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies promptly to the Chief Cultivation Officer or Greenhouse Manager. Assist with the implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) strategies. Facility and Operational Support Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including cleaning and sterilizing tools, equipment, and cultivation areas. Accurately track and record all cultivation activities, including waste disposal and material usage, in compliance with state regulations and company SOPs. Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparation of harvested material as needed. Adhere strictly to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Compliance and Regulations Ensure all work activities comply with state and local cannabis regulations (e.g., METRC tracking). Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company processes and cultivation data. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age or older (required by state cannabis regulations). Ability to obtain and maintain all required state and local cannabis employment permits/licenses. Ability to perform physical labor, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various temperature and humidity conditions. Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity. Reliable transportation and proven record of punctuality and reliability. Preferred Prior experience in commercial agriculture, horticulture, or a greenhouse environment (cannabis experience is a plus, but not required). Knowledge of basic plant physiology, nutrient solutions, and pest management is a plus. Familiarity with compliance and tracking software (e.g., METRC) is beneficial.
