Duties Manage irrigation systems to ensure precise watering schedules tailored to crop needs, utilizing agricultural environmental control systems when applicable Monitor and adjust environmental conditions within greenhouses and outdoor cultivation areas to promote healthy plant growth Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for planting, pruning, trimming, and harvesting crops Conduct crop pest management using integrated pest management techniques to prevent infestations and maintain plant health Perform garden trimming, plant identification, and general landscaping duties to optimize plant aesthetics and productivity Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment safely for land preparation, planting, and maintenance tasks Assist with crop pest control measures and apply appropriate treatments as needed while adhering to safety protocols Support managing horticultural teams by providing guidance on best practices for greenhouse cultivation and outdoor work activities Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks necessary for planting, harvesting, or moving materials within the cultivation area Maintain detailed records of irrigation schedules, pest treatments, crop progress, and environmental conditions Experience Proven experience in greenhouse cultivation or outdoor farming environments with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Knowledge of irrigation management systems and agricultural environmental control systems Hands-on experience with crop production techniques including pruning, trimming, and transplanting Familiarity with integrated pest management strategies and plant pest control methods Ability to operate hand tools, mechanical equipment, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Strong understanding of land preparation, gardening practices, lawn care, and landscaping principles Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to irrigation scheduling or fertilizer application Physical stamina for outdoor work including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Prior experience managing horticultural teams or working collaboratively in a fast-paced cultivation environment is a plus Join us in cultivating excellence!
