A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Job Description Cultivation Tech I is an entry level position that maintains and completes daily projects assigned by the Cultivation Manager/Supervisor. This position will be responsible for assisting in all areas of grow operations to include potting, manicuring, and harvesting.
Cleans in and around cultivation areas daily, including but not limited to floors, walls, tables, equipment and sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, sanitizing.
Follows compliance procedures mandated by the state licensing requirements.
Maintains open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
Maintains a professional attitude towards coworkers and management.
Follows operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient mannerCompletes assigned tasks, projects, and expectations in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background checkMust be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionallyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situationsSelf-MotivatedAbility to multitaskOrganizational skillsAbility to stay focusedMust be a team player with a "can do" attitudePositive attitude and strong work ethicAvailable to work weekends and holidaysReliable transportationMust be able to work in 80+ and humid environment Education and Experience Requirements High School degree or equivalent Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at timesThe ability to respond quickly to soundsThe ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spacesThe ability to see and respond to dangerous situationsThe ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the dayThe ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a timeThe ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditionsThe ability to work in high CO2 environmentsThe ability to use a half face respiratorThe ability to complete fine motor functionsThe ability to work in low light situationsLifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activityExposure to limited hazardous chemicalsMust be able to go up and down a ladder repeatedly.
