In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing landscapes to create beautiful, functional environments. Your expertise in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and gardening will help transform outdoor areas into thriving, sustainable spaces. Duties Plan and execute landscape designs, incorporating hardscape features and planting schemes to achieve aesthetic and functional goals Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and snow plowing during seasonal changes Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessments to promote growth and safety Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and hand tools for planting, pruning, and landscape installation Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency across various landscapes Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks including weed control, mulching, soil conditioning, and pest management Assist with construction projects involving hardscape features like patios or walkways while ensuring safety standards are met Requirements Proven knowledge of horticulture principles along with practical experience in landscaping and garden care Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of lawn care equipment, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting heavy materials, mowing lawns, and snow plowing in all weather conditions Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree trimming, lawn care practices, hardscape installation, and general maintenance Strong understanding of land management practices including soil health and plant selection for different environments Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction or landscape projects Valid driver's license preferred; experience operating machinery like excavators is a plus This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about horticulture who want to make a tangible difference in outdoor spaces. Pay:
