What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Duties:
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the ranch
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as needed
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
- Operate power tools and hand tools for various tasks
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Operate heavy equipment for ranch operations, such as tractors or loaders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Assist with cattle and calving as well as seeding and harvest responsibilites, along with other daily responsibilites
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
