Job Description

Join Johannes Farms, Inc. this fall and become part of a hardworking team dedicated to safe, efficient corn and soybean harvest operations. We are looking for a motivated person who enjoys agricultural work, respects equipment and land, and is prepared for a busy harvest season. Competitive pay is offered and will be based on experience. Johannes Farms is situated 7 miles northeast of Columbus, NE, and operates large-scale row-crop equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a crop production environment or who already has hands-on experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual; strong work ethic required Able to work cooperatively within a small crew or handle tasks independently when needed Background in crop production and experience with large farm equipment preferred, though enthusiastic trainees will be considered Must have a clean driving record; CDL not required Interest in mechanics and preventative maintenance; pride in maintaining machines and fields responsibly
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure equipment is ready each day by completing pre-operation checks and minor adjustments Operate and maneuver trucks with precision and safety Perform local grain hauling duties Work seasonally long days (commonly 8:00 a.m. until dark) and remain flexible to changing conditions Communicate clearly with supervisors about field conditions, equipment needs, and any safety issues Interested applicants should call/text Tonya Syslo at 402-304-2460 to be considered for the position.
