•We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Combine Operator to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating combine harvesters efficiently and safely during harvest seasons, ensuring optimal crop collection while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards. Your expertise in farm machinery, livestock handling, and equipment maintenance will contribute significantly to the success of our farming operations. Duties Operate combine harvesters and other farm machinery with precision, ensuring efficient crop harvesting across diverse terrains. Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, including welding and mechanical repairs, to maintain optimal performance. Manage manual handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting harvested crops using forklifts and heavy equipment. Assist with livestock management tasks, including animal husbandry, livestock handling, and caring for farm animals like horses or cattle. Conduct maintenance on farm machinery and tools, ensuring all equipment is safe, functional, and compliant with safety standards in production. Support irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, and horticultural activities to promote healthy crop growth. Follow safety protocols diligently during outdoor work and heavy lifting activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience operating agricultural machinery such as combines, tractors, forklifts, and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on farm equipment. Prior farm experience with a focus on crop harvesting, animal care, or livestock management is highly desirable. Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for overseeing team members or assisting in training new staff. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation, manual handling, and animal husbandry practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involving hand tools or power tools effectively. Outdoor work experience in farming environments with an understanding of irrigation systems, horticulture, or greenhouse operations is beneficial.
