JOB SUMMARY
The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day of a specific stage of cannabis cultivation work in accordance with standards set by the company. Provides direct support for all cultivation associates, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. Responsible for highest possible standards of work in cultivation, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with State regulations and standards set by the company.Pay:
$60k - 65kPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Assist the Cultivation Manager and the Assistant Cultivation Manager with supervision and direction of cultivation staff, grow schedules, cultivation processes, inventory, and vendor relations.Serve as a role model and resource for cultivation staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, and changes in regulations.
Assist the Cultivation Manager and the Assistant Cultivation Manager with responding to all cultivation staff questions, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation, including but not limited to transplanting, pruning, defoliating, watering, and feeding. Assist with and delegate tasks to cultivation associates to maintain a compliant and clean cultivation facility.
Oversee daily cultivation tasks and processes. Ensure proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with company standards. Assist with planning, coordinating, and overseeing the transition of product development by ensuring that the proper tasks are executed and that the environmental conditions support the cultivation of superior quality product in accordance with company standards. Maintain functionality of equipment and the facility, making minor repairs and reporting larger repairs and equipment replacement to Assistant Cultivation Manager. Oversee supply stock, orders, and deliveries to ensure efficient levels of all cultivation inputs and supplies. As directed, maintain accurate records of all cultivation activities, including employee records, inventory records, deliveries, and returns in accordance with company standards. Ensure all state regulations are followed and documentation is prepared and submitted as required. Coach and develop the Cultivation Technicians, provide constant developmental feedback.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
2-year degree in a horticultural or agricultural field or demonstrated experience in horticulture or agricultural production preferred.2+ years of relevant work experience in a hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production facility is desired.Experience with grow data acquisitionExperience designing nutrient mixesKnows automated environmental control systemsUnderstanding of horticulture practices including cloning plantsAbility to identify and remedy plant disease statesCan identify and remedy suboptimal nutrient statesDetailed knowledge of indoor hydroponic cultivation practices, life cycle of cannabis, common pests of cannabis and compliance Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screeningsFull knowledge of all applicable law, regulations, and requirements to keep the facility at 100% compliance at all times, this includes being up to date on any changes to current applicable laws/regulations Must pass any and all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industryMust be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operationMust have excellent organization and time management skillsMust be focused, pay close attention to detailMust be able to internalize training and follow instructions Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
