Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Automation Technician Level 1 responsible to perform minor electrical automation work, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic processes. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as directed by the supervisor. Assist in training and development of facility Packaging Machine Operator personnel. Additional Info What You Will Need :
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating automated equipment. Experience in Automation / Technical maintenance OR equivalent industrial automation education in lieu of experience, required. Knowledge of simple math calculations required for the layout and installation of simple circuits for automation systems. Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical equipment documentation or verbal instructions normal to the trade, required. Must have great mechanical skills. Must be able to determine the appropriate equipment necessary to do the job. Must be trainable in all aspects of safety as it pertains to the maintenance and repair of dangerous, and potentially dangerous machinery. Must demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and techniques. Must pass Lock out/tag out training. Must pass Quality Control GMP testing. Must have working knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ability to read, write and understand written information in English, required. Ability to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday, required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
What Will Set You Apart :
Experience with pneumatic systems a plus. Familiarity with industrial / manufacturing automation environment a plus.
