What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the Cultivation Propagation Lead and is responsible for ensuring the health and vitality of mother plants, managing clones through early growth phases until they are ready to be transferred to the next cultivation area, and maintaining sanitary practices in the nursery.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Plant Biology Knowledge- Understand cannabis plant anatomy, physiology, and growth cycles Mother Plant Maintenance
- Maintain and care for mother plants to ensure optimal health and productivity Cloning Techniques
- Execute precise cutting and propagation practices using rooting hormones and established cloning methods to propagate new plants
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Monitoring Plant Health- Observe and assess plant conditions daily for signs of stress, disease, pests, or nutrient deficiencies, and report findings to the Cultivation Lead Nutrient Management
- Apply appropriate nutrient solutions based on growth stage and plant requirements Sanitation Practices
- Maintain sterile workspaces and tools to prevent contamination and disease transmission Record Keeping
- Accurately document propagation methods, growth stages, and environmental conditions for compliance and quality control Regulatory Compliance
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal cannabis cultivation regulations
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background checkHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent6 months- 1 year experience in cannabis cultivation or related production environment
