Job Summary:

We are hiring weekend barn help! Experience is great, but we are willing to train the right person.

Shifts needed:

Saturdays:

12:30am-4:30pm

Sundays:

7:30am -4:30pm

Qualifications:

Must be willing to respect our belief that animals are here with us, not for us. Reliable transportation - living within 30 minutes of the sanctuary is preferred MUST be able to travel and work in potential inclement weather. Farm labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right, hardworking individual. Must be able to drive a kubota farm vehicle. Will train. Comfortable around all species and sizes of farmed animals. Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Duties Include :

Assisting barn manager with opening, letting goats out of their stalls, prepping outdoor hay feeders, water buckets, and troughs Stocking hay, straw, feed, supplies Cleaning stalls, running muck buckets Assisting staff by holding animals for hoof trims or medical treatment Driving and maintaining farm vehicles
