Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Horse Groom to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our horses and barn facilities. This role requires hands-on work with horses, ensuring their well-being, cleanliness, and safety, while also maintaining a clean and organized barn environment. The Horse Groom will play a vital role in supporting the overall operation of our equestrian facility, including assisting with special events such as weddings. Duties Clean horse stalls regularly to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for the horses Feed horses hay and grain according to their dietary needs and schedules Clean and refill water buckets and water troughs to keep horses properly hydrated Turn horses in and out of stalls or paddocks to promote exercise and well-being Maintain cleanliness of the barn, including sweeping, organizing supplies, and waste removal Drive tractor for barn chores or field work as needed Operate horse trailers safely when transporting horses between locations Lead horses during special events such as weddings, ensuring safety for both horses and guests Assist with general farm or stable maintenance tasks as required Skills Experience working with horses or in an equestrian environment required Ability to handle horses safely and confidently Basic knowledge of barn maintenance and cleaning procedures Comfortable operating farm equipment such as tractors and trailers Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail and reliability in daily tasks Ability to follow safety protocols around animals and equipment Excellent communication skills for teamwork and coordination during events This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about working with horses in a dynamic environment. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
