Greenhouse Worker / General Laborer Reports to: Greenhouse Manager Job Description We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Greenhouse Worker / General Laborer to join our team. This is an entry-level position with a broad range of hands-on duties which will support the day-to-day operation and upkeep of our greenhouse facility and grounds. The right candidate should be comfortable working on their feet, performing physical labor, following instructions, and helping wherever needed. Previous greenhouse or agricultural experience is helpful but not required . We are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to: Cleaning and maintaining greenhouse areas, workspaces, and equipment Moving plants, soil, trays, supplies, and other materials Preparing growing areas and workspaces Weeding and general greenhouse upkeep Loading and unloading materials Mowing Garbage and Compost Duties Assisting with routine maintenance and repairs Keeping tools and equipment clean and organized Following instructions and established safety procedures Performing general labor and other tasks as needed to support daily greenhouse operations Planting, transplanting, watering, and general plant care Qualifications No previous greenhouse experience required Reliable and willing to work Able to follow directions and work as part of a team Comfortable performing physical labor and standing for extended periods Able to lift and move materials as required; 50+ lbs. Enjoys working outdoors Good attitude and willingness to learn This is a hands-on labor position where responsibilities can vary from day to day. We are looking for someone who is dependable, works hard, takes direction well, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
