Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance, including the installation and repair of irrigation systems. This role involves working outdoors, utilizing both hand and power tools to ensure efficient irrigation for gardens and lawns. The Irrigation Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining healthy landscapes through effective water management. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Utilize power tools and hand tools to build and modify irrigation setups as needed. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and identify any issues. Dig trenches for piping installation and repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions into garden designs effectively. Provide lawn care support by ensuring proper watering schedules and system adjustments based on seasonal needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance schedules. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation installation is preferred. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems related to irrigation is essential. Knowledge of gardening practices and lawn care techniques will be beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing tasks efficiently.
