Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Morning Barn Help to join our dynamic farm team. In this role, you will be responsible for the early morning care and maintenance of horses, ensuring their well-being and the smooth operation of daily farm activities. Internship opportunities available On site apartment lease options are also available to approved tenants Duties Feed, water, and monitor the health of the horses or other farm animals Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as grooming, cleaning stalls, and managing a clean work environment. Operate farm machinery including tractors and other equipment safely and efficiently Ensure safety standards are upheld during all activities by following proper procedures for heavy lifting and manual handling Assist with livestock handling tasks such as moving animals between pens or pastures using appropriate techniques and equipment Support general farm operations Requirements Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or livestock management preferred Willingness to learn and follow directions Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs safety. Knowledge of animal care practices including animal husbandry and livestock handling techniques Mechanical knowledge related to agricultural machinery repair and maintenance necessary for troubleshooting equipment issues Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions required; ability to perform heavy lifting safely is a must Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping; familiarity with safety standards in production environments essential Join us in this vital role where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
