Custom Applicator Trainee - Ag Retail | Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Custom Applicator Trainee to join our ag retail team. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in learning custom application, gaining hands-on experience, and growing into a licensed applicator position. Experienced applicators are also encouraged to apply. As a trainee, you will learn how to safely and accurately apply fertilizers, crop protection products, and other agricultural inputs while developing strong equipment operation skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of agronomy practices. Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation Training — Learn to operate and maintain sprayers, spreaders, tender trucks, and other application equipment. Application Support — Assist with fertilizer and crop protection applications under supervision, following label guidelines and company standards. Accuracy & Documentation — Support accurate application rates, mapping, and field records. Equipment Care — Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance. Safety & Compliance — Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations. Seasonal Teamwork — Help support operations during busy planting and harvest seasons. Qualifications Interest in agriculture and willingness to learn Familiarity with farm machinery or mechanical aptitude preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Chemical Applicator License not required Ability to work independently and follow directions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability and willingness to work extended hours during spring and fall, including some weekends, as weather and seasonal demands require Schedule In-Season (Spring & Fall): Extended hours and some weekends based on weather and field conditions

Off-Season:
