Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Custom Applicator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the effective application of various agricultural products, including fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, to enhance crop production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of farm machinery, ag sprayers, floaters. Duties Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment for the application of agricultural products Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to established guidelines while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of applications, including product types, quantities used, and areas treated. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely completion of applications. Assist in loading fertilizer and ag chemicals needed for each day. Help maintain facility and grounds. Requirements Experience in farming is preferred. Familiarity with farm machinery operation is essential. Knowledge of pesticides and ag fertilizer is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Class A CDL is preferred but not required. Must have or be willing to obtain a Commercial Restricted Use Pesticide License. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. Must be able to read and understand pesticide labels and be able to calculate application rates.
