Job Description
This is a temporary position for 30-40 hours per week for 6-8 months. The position is responsible for assisting Nursery staff including operating farm equipment to plant and harvest tree seedlings at the state nursery. You will be maintaining fields, irrigating, planting, weeding and performing pest control. General housekeeping and maintenance also required. Operation hours are Monday-Friday 8-4:30 pm. This is a physical job. You will work outdoors and in the weather of the season. Tractor/forklift/farm/landscape/nursery experience desirable but not required. Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license and pass a background check. Good attitude and reliability are required.
