$15.00 per hour Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join a poultry vaccination crew as a GP Poultry Vaccination Technician. This hands-on position is essential to maintaining flock health and supporting the overall success of poultry operations. Team members are responsible for vaccinations, bird handling, animal welfare, equipment sanitation, and maintaining strict bio-security standards. If you're comfortable working in an agricultural environment and enjoy being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you! Job Responsibilities Work with day-old chicks and growing birds. Collect birds for moving, weighing, and vaccination procedures. Handle live poultry in poultry house environments. Collect blood samples and band, tag, or remove identification tags from birds. Perform vaccinations according to company procedures. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect equipment to maintain bio-security standards. Follow all Animal Care Standards, Animal Welfare Guidelines, and Bio-Security policies. Safely work with detergents, disinfectants, and other approved chemicals. Perform assigned duties safely and efficiently as trained. Work in farm environments with dust, odors, and loud noise levels. Support animal care and welfare as a primary responsibility of the vaccination crew. May be required to work up to six days per week, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications Required Valid driver's license. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to grip, grasp, and twist with hands and wrists. Ability to bend and stoop throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors and in varying temperatures. Ability to work well in a team environment. Preferred Previous animal husbandry, livestock, poultry, or agricultural experience is helpful but not required.
