About the Role\r\n\r\nFlowerree Hay & Grain is hiring a full-time Agricultural Specialist to support hay and grain production on a large, established family farm. This position is ideal for graduates of an Agricultural Sciences college or university program who grew up around farming and are seeking a hands-on, operational career in production agriculture.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOperate tractors, swathers, balers, loaders, trucks, and related equipment\r\n\tAssist in hay and grain production, irrigation management, and fieldwork\r\n\tApply pesticides in compliance with Oregon regulations\r\n\tPerform basic equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting\r\n\tMaintain field, chemical, and equipment logs\r\n\tSupport daily farm operations, independently and as part of a team\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field\r\n\tGrew up on a farm or extensive hands-on farm experience\r\n\tOregon Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain quickly)\r\n\tMechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs\r\n\tValid driver's license\r\n\tStrong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience with GPS, machine guidance, or precision ag\r\n\tWelding or fabrication skills\r\n\tIrrigation system experience (pivots, pumps, wells)\r\n\tHay production experience\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat We Offer\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCompetitive pay with growth potential\r\n\tStable, long-term employment\r\n\tOpportunities for increased responsibility\r\n\tHands-on training from experienced staff\r\n\r\n
