7:30 AM, although start times may vary based on daylight and harvest conditions About the Position We are hiring five Seasonal Harvest Crew Members to help with our upcoming outdoor harvest at our farm near Creswell. This is a short term, hands-on outdoor position for people who enjoy physical work and don't mind getting dirty. Harvest is one of the busiest times of the year on the farm, and we're looking for reliable people who can work hard, follow direction, and be part of a team. No previous cannabis, farming, or horticulture experience is required. We are open to applicants from all backgrounds and will train the right people. Experience with farming, landscaping, construction, warehouse work, or other physically demanding jobs is a plus. What You'll Be Doing The majority of this position involves harvesting outdoor plants and preparing them for drying.

Daily responsibilities may include:

Cutting down mature plants using scissors and pruning tools Carrying harvested plants and plant material from growing areas Bucking plant material from stems Placing harvested material onto drying racks Moving plants, pots, equipment, and materials around the farm Cleaning and clearing growing plots after harvest Weeding and general farm cleanup Using ladders as needed Cleaning tools, work areas, and harvest equipment Assisting with other general farm tasks as needed Harvest work is repetitive and physically demanding. Some days will involve performing the same task for several hours at a time. Being able to maintain a steady pace while doing the job correctly is important. Physical Requirements Applicants must be comfortable performing physical work for an entire shift.

This position requires:

Regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Standing and walking for most or all of a 6-8 hour shift Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling Repetitive hand and wrist movement while using scissors and pruning tools Climbing and working from ladders Carrying plants and materials across uneven outdoor surfaces Working outdoors in changing weather conditions Harvest happens rain or shine. Oregon fall weather can mean rain, mud, cold mornings, warm afternoons, and everything in between. Applicants should be prepared to dress appropriately and work outside regardless of the weather. Schedule & Availability Harvest timing is determined by the plants, weather, and growing conditions, so flexibility is important. Employees will typically work 3-5 days per week for approximately 6-8 hours per day. Our normal target start time is 7:30 AM, although some mornings may start later depending on available daylight and conditions. The harvest season generally lasts approximately four weeks, give or take, but the exact length cannot be guaranteed. Applicants should have good availability during the harvest period and understand that the weekly schedule may change based on when plants are ready. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit Must have reliable transportation to and from the farm Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position Must be comfortable working outdoors in rain, mud, heat, and cold Must be able to safely use scissors, pruners, ladders, and basic farm tools Must be dependable and arrive on time when scheduled Must be able to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team Must be comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks for extended periods Please note: Public transportation does not service our farm location. Reliable transportation is required. What We're Looking For Experience is helpful, but work ethic and reliability matter more to us than previous farm experience. The people who tend to do well on our farm are dependable, clear headed, hardworking, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed. You should be comfortable working with a team while also being able to stay productive without someone constantly supervising you. Harvest can be demanding. We are looking for people who can maintain a good attitude, work at a consistent pace, communicate when they have questions, and help the team get the job done. Compensation & Team Member Discount Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. While employed with the farm, team members also receive a 30% employee discount at our retail store. Interested?
