Monday-Friday, with long hours during busy seasons Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Farm Equipment Operator for our local client. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and takes pride in getting the job done right. No special applicator licensing is required to start! What You'll Do Prepare and load fertilizer and soil amendment products accurately. Operate application equipment, including airflow and spinner buggy equipment. Apply products accurately and efficiently based on recommendations, weather, and field conditions. Perform equipment maintenance and help keep equipment in good working order. Communicate with growers professionally and respectfully. Manage your time and work independently to meet deadlines. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks associated with application and equipment maintenance. Comfortable working long hours during busy spring and summer seasons. Good attention to detail and commitment to safety. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. No special applicator license required to start. What to Expect Full-time employment with a local agricultural company. Opportunity to gain experience with fall applications and prepare for the busy spring season. 90-day introductory employment period. Required pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, with enrollment in random testing. Training and licensing requirements as applicable to the position.
