Job Responsibilities:

Perform precise and efficient trimming of cannabis plants to remove excess leaves and stems while preserving the desired buds. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards. Work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient trimming process. Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Communicate any concerns or issues regarding plant quality, pests, or diseases to the supervisor. This is a full time position. This is a 1099 independent contractor job, you will need to supply your own trimming tools/scissors. OLCC workers permit and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cannabis trimming or related roles is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. Familiarity with cannabis strains, plant anatomy, and the basics of cannabis cultivation is an asset. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity to perform precise trimming techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, including standing, sitting, bending, and using trimming tools. Understanding of and adherence to strict confidentiality and compliance requirements in the cannabis industry. This is a 1099 independent contractor job.
